The Role

We’re hiring a skilled and organized Dispatcher to serve as the logistical hub of our remote and onsite operations. You’ll be responsible for assigning service tickets to technicians based on skillset, location, and project urgency, keeping our team on track and our clients satisfied.
In addition to dispatching, you'll also support procurement operations, helping ensure that equipment and materials are ordered, tracked, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign and monitor service tickets in ConnectWise PSA until completed
  • Ensure tickets are scheduled for same-business-day resolution whenever possible
  • Balance technician workloads based on skill, geography, and project dependencies
  • Contact customer to schedule on-site work
  • Research previous tickets to inform better dispatching decisions
  • Track and update ticket statuses and notes in ConnectWise PSA
  • Communicate clearly with technicians and internal stakeholders
  • Respond to shifting priorities and adjust scheduling in real time
  • Assist with procurement operations, including placing and tracking orders, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Collaborate with the operations and inventory teams to ensure technicians have the necessary parts and equipment

What You Bring

  • Experience with dispatching, logistics, or service coordination
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ConnectWise PSA or similar dispatching software
  • Familiarity with Chicagoland geography
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to manage multiple variables and stay calm under pressure
  • Clear, professional communication style
  • Ability to work effectively with a range of personalities
  • Basic understanding of procurement and purchasing processes is a plus
