We are in search of a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role will maintain financial reports, records and general ledges. Responsibilities also include bookkeeping, filing tax returns, researching and analyzing account and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in preparing consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
• Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.
• Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports, verifying information.
• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files, reconciling accounts.
• Prepares accrual entries and maintains prepaid accounts.
• Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures, recommending changes.
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Reconcile bank accounts cash/credit cards/loans.
• Prepare debit/credit memos price corrections, tax adjustments.
• Prepare, file and schedule sales tax payments.
• Provide information, data and assistance to external auditors.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance or related field
• Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person.
• Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related pre-employment screenings to include a criminal background check, credit check and drug test.
