What To Expect
Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start August/September 2025 and continue through the entire Fall term (i.e. through approx December 2025) or into Winter/Spring 2026 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

Join our Energy Industrial Product design team as an Engineering Program Manager Intern, where you will play a pivotal role in the hardware design programs for Megapack, Powerpack, and Industrial Batteries. What You'll Do Manage cross-functional hardware design programs for Industrial Storage (Megapack/Powerpack/Battery System), overseeing project scoping, coordination with design, supply chain, validation, and system integration teams, while driving projects to completionBe analytical, collect and utilize data to present progress, trends, risks and opportunities for projectsRequires leading a cross functional team, balancing multiple tasks, running meetings, creating plans, delivering results, and being a flexible and capable problem solverDefine and drive the schedule for upcoming new project launches and sustaining programsMaintains a high degree of confidentiality and exercises sound business judgmentCommunicate effectively by sharing project status updates, leading scrums and stand-ups, and proactively managing schedule risksDevelop and manage project plans and ensure timely delivery of milestones
What You'll Bring Pursuing a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related fields Familiarity with system development conceptsExperience building, developing, and managing highly effective project management tools and processesExcellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills with ability to work in a highly cross-functionally environmentExcellent organization and delegation skills with ability to own the product roadmap and schedule with a track record of delivering projects on-timeAbility to inspire confidence in multiple layers of management from executive to associate levels, as the face of your projectsAbility to work with limited resources, independently, tight deadlines, and with urgencyExceptional ability to keep simultaneous projects moving forwardProficient with MS Office including Project, PowerPoint. Expected Compensation
$20.00 - $50.00/hour + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
