Job Description

We are seeking skilled Concrete Finishers to join our site preparation team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on civil and commercial construction projects and be proficient in all aspects of concrete finishing. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently as part of a crew.

Key Responsibilities:

• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete (e.g., roads, sidewalks, slabs, curbs, foundations)
• Use hand and power tools such as trowels, floats, screeds, and edging tools
• Set forms, pour, level, and finish concrete according to grade and specifications
• Apply curing and sealing compounds
• Patch voids and use rubbing tools to repair surface defects
• Follow site grading and slope specifications
• Work collaboratively with equipment operators, laborers, and site supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA and company safety standards

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Concrete Finisher in civil/site prep or commercial construction
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and grade stakes
• Familiarity with site preparation, subgrade, and base work
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Must pass drug screen and background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred
