ABOUT GRISWOLD HOME CARE

What does it mean to “live assured”? It means people enjoying the independence they want and the peace of mind they deserve. This is the promise we make to all our clients—one that we are confident making because of our team. Griswold operates in over 170 locations across 30 states and has touched more than 100,000 families. Griswold Home Care was founded by the late Jean Griswold in 1982, making us the oldest non-medical home care franchise organization in the country. As a pioneer in our industry, we support families by referring care partners for personal care, homemaking, and companionship services. Our company was built on the timeless values of compassion and care—ideals that are always at the heart of all we do. We are proud that the services we provide help our clients remain in the homes they love. Our desire to give back led us to establish the Jean Griswold Scholarship Foundation, which assists individuals seeking to further their education in a care-related field. We hire hard-working, dedicated individuals who uphold our values and ensure our clients receive the top-quality care they need. To show our appreciation for all they do, we offer our employees above-average pay, robust appreciation programs, and opportunities for growth and development to help them build rewarding careers. COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE IN INCLUSIVE AND COMPASSIONATE CARE As a SAGECare Platinum Credentialed Organization, we are proud to lead the way in providing LGBTQ+ Cultural Competency Training as a standard for our team. This distinction reflects our unwavering dedication to creating safe, inclusive, and affirming environments for everyone we serve, especially older adults within the LGBTQ+ community. In addition, we are a Teepa Snow Positive Approach to Dementia Care® Designated Organization, where the Positive Approach to Care® (PAC) techniques guide our standard of care. By embracing this internationally recognized method, we provide person-centered, empathetic, and effective care for individuals living with dementia or other cognitive challenges. Together, these credentials reflect our holistic approach to caregiving: one that values inclusivity, dignity, and innovative care techniques that enhance the lives of those we serve.
