Job Overview

The Senior Salesperson/Business Development Associate will spearhead efforts to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the Telecom and Light Industrial staffing markets. This role demands a proven track record in staffing sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, and deep knowledge of the Telecom and Light Industrial sectors.

Based in Plano, TX, you will collaborate with clients to understand their staffing needs and deliver customized solutions to meet their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and referrals within the Telecom and Light Industrial industries.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met with precision.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or surpass revenue goals.
  • Partner with the recruiting team to align client requirements with candidate sourcing efforts.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Represent Volks Resources at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to elevate brand presence.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in CRM software.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales or business development experience in the staffing industry, with a focus on Telecom and/or Light Industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and fostering enduring client relationships.
  • In-depth understanding of Telecom and Light Industrial workforce dynamics and industry trends.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.

This position is based in Plano, TX.
